Senior Gary Zack Named Landmark Conference Field Athlete of the Week
MADISON, N.J. – Senior Gary Zack of the Moravian College men's track & field team was named Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of April 2nd. This is the second straight week Zack has earned this honor.
MADISON, N.J. – Senior Gary Zack of the Moravian College men's track & field team was named Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of April 2nd. This is the second straight week Zack has earned this honor.
Zack continued his strong outdoor season for Moravian by setting a new school and Landmark record in the javelin at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener. He won the event with a throw of 67.69 (222 feet, one inch), which bested his own Landmark and school record of 67.36 meters (221 feet), which he set last season. He bested 28 other competitors to place first in the event.
The Greyhounds return to action on April 6th & 7th when they head to the Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton University. The meet is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. on April 6th, and 11 a.m. on April 7th.
