Moravian Takes 18th in Paul Short Run White Race
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s cross country team placed 18th in the College Men’s White Race at the annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University Friday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds scored 512 points to finish 18th of the 44 NCAA Division III teams in the race
- No. 13 New York University placed first in the race with 54 points while No. 25 Amherst (Mass.) College was second with 101 points
- Moravian was the second team in the Metro Region to have its top five runners finish
- Graduate student Cole Frank led the Hounds' runners with a time of 25:21.6 on the 8,000-meter course to place 54th of the 407 runners
- Junior Nate Moore took 80th in a time of 25:34.5 while senior Bryan Kerchner was 106th overall in 25:49.8
- Junior Gavin Hefferan placed 119th in a time of 25:54.3 while freshman Braeden Knotts rounded out the top five scoring runners in 164th in a personal best time of 26:19.7
- Moravian's other runners in the race included sophomore Grayson Kerzmann in 215th at a PR time of 26:38.4, sophomore Riley Trigo at 255th in a time of 26:56.7, freshman Aiden Nieman in 317th at a PR time of 27:37.9, sophomore Jake Mattes at 319th in 27:39.1 and senior Joe Allegro at 382nd in a time of 28:40.1
