Greyhounds Place Seventh in Rowan Border Battle
GLOUCESTER, N.J. --- The Moravian University men’s cross country squad placed seventh in the Rowan University Border Battle Saturday at Gloucester County DREAM Park, site of this year’s NCAA Division III Metro Regional Championship in November.

How It Happened
- The Hounds posted a team score of 169 to take seventh of the 35 teams, and the Greyhounds were just eight points out of finishing third
- No. 16 Carnegie Mellon University placed first with 67 points while Swarthmore College was the runner-up with 144 points
- Senior Bryan Kerchner led the Greyhounds with a sixth-place finish among the 327 runners with a personal best time of 24:53.6
- Graduate student Cole Frank was one spot back in seventh at a time of 24:55.5 while junior Gavin Hefferan took 27th in 25:20.5
- Junior Nate Moore placed 48th in a time of 25:46.1 while sophomore Riley Trigo was 87th at a PR time of 26:19.9
- Rounding out the Moravian runners were sophomore Grayson Kerzmann in 117th with a time of 26:40.5, freshman Braeden Knotts at 135th in 26:55.4, senior Joe Allegro in 142nd at 27:02.8, freshman Aiden Nieman at 144th with a PR time of 27:04.6 and sophomore Jake Mattes in 169th at 27:19.5
