Top 10 Stories of 2024-25 - #9 Three Greyhounds Named Landmark Conference Senior Scholar Athletes
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is continuing its look back at its 2024-25 athletic campaign. The second entry in our second countdown of the summer – the Top 10 Stories of the Year selected by the athletic administration – is our No. 9 highlight – Josh Mangini, Jackie Salvatore and Sage Snyder being named as Landmark Conference Senior Scholar Athletes.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is continuing its look back at its 2024-25 athletic campaign. The second entry in our second countdown of the summer – the Top 10 Stories of the Year selected by the athletic administration – is our No. 9 highlight – Josh Mangini, Jackie Salvatore and Sage Snyder being named as Landmark Conference Senior Scholar Athletes.
Mangini was named as the 2024 Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete for Men's Cross Country. Last fall, Mangini earned Landmark All-Conference First Team honors with a seventh-place finish at the 2024 Landmark Conference Championships as he helped the Greyhounds capture their fourth straight and sixth overall Landmark Conference Team Championship. Mangini garnered All-Metro Region honors as he placed 28th of 186 runners to help the program win its first Metro Regional title. Mangini placed 214th of 294 runners at the NCAA Division III National Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana where the Hounds finished 22nd of 32 teams in the program's first appearance as a team in the championship meet. Mangini earned his MBA in data analytics this year after graduating from Moravian with a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2024 with a 3.65 grade point average.

Salvatore was honored as the 2025 Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete for Women's Lacrosse. This spring, Salvatore helped the Greyhounds to a 10-8 record and a berth in the Landmark Conference Tournament. Salvatore was honored as the 2025 Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year while earning spots on the Landmark All-Conference First Team and the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Metro Region Second Team. She was selected an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine. Salvatore set the Moravian single season records for points in a season with 120 and assists in a year with 76 in 2025 to go along with 44 goals, 83 draw controls, 32 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Salvatore graduated with a bachelor's degree in public health as she posted a career 3.92 grade point average.

Snyder was selected as the 2025 Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete for Softball. This spring, Snyder helped the Greyhounds to a 40-9 record, a Landmark Conference Championship and the program's 21st appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament with Moravian capturing the Bethlehem (Pa.) Regional Championship before hosting the Bethlehem (Pa) Super Regional. Snyder was honored on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-Region V Second Team, the Landmark All-Conference First Team and the Bethlehem (Pa.) Regional All-Tournament Team in 2025. Snyder posted a .356 batting average this season with 48 hits, 39 runs, 12 doubles, a triple, a homer, 29 RBIs, 25 walks and 22 stolen bases at the plate to go with 44 putouts and four assists in left field.

The trio lift Moravian's total of Landmark Conference Senior Scholar Athletes to 46 since the conference began in 2007-08.
