Greyhounds Shutout Mules to Claim Sodexo Crosstown Clash Cup for Second Straight Year
ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s soccer team scored a second half goal for its first shutout of the season as the Greyhounds captured the Sodexo Cup as part of Sodexo Crosstown Clash between Moravian and rival Muhlenberg College in Allentown Tuesday evening.

How It Happened
- The squads played a scoreless first half with the Mules holding an 8-6 advantage in shots
- The Hounds broke onto the scoreboard in the 76th minute when a loose ball found the feet of senior midfielder Colby Roach, who fired a shot from inside the 18-yard box into the right side of the net
- Muhlenberg made a late push to tie including a corner kick in the final 20 seconds of action; however, the Moravian defense did not allow a goal for the squad's first clean sheet of the year
- The Blue & Grey capture the Sodexo Cup in the Crosstown Clash for the second straight season after a 3-0 win in 2024

- Roach's goal was the third of her career
- Junior goalie Caitlyn Philips posted three saves in her first shutout of the season and third of her career
