How It Happened
- The squads were scoreless until the final minute of the first half when a handball was called on the Greyhounds in the box, setting up a penalty kick for the Cardinals. Catholic converted with just 36.5 seconds left in the opening 45 minutes to head to the intermission with a 1-0 advantage
- The Blue & Grey held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks in the first half
- Catholic extended the advantage to 2-0 with a goal in the 56th minute, and the Cardinals added three goals in eight minutes late in the half to finish off the scoring
