Hounds Come Up Short in Hard-Fought Match with Wilkes
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s soccer team jumped out to an early 2-0 lead before falling to visiting Wilkes University, 3-2, in Landmark Conference action Saturday in the Hounds’ final home match of the season.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds got onto the scoreboard in the fourth minute as freshman forward Anna Dunn put a pass from freshman midfielder Kaylie Zimmer into the net
- Zimmer scored for the second straight match with an unassisted tally in the 17th minute
- The Colonels cut the score to 2-1 with a goal in the 35th minute
- Wilkes found the equalizer in the 70th minute, and the Colonels took a 3-2 lead in the 76th minute
Inside the Numbers
- Dunn and Zimmer both scored their second goals of the season while Zimmer earned registered her first career assist
- Junior goalie Caitlyn Philips recorded a pair of saves
