Four Greyhounds Named College Sports Communicators Women’s Soccer Academic All-District
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University seniors defender Grace Blenis and forward Elliot Rupp, junior goalie Caitlyn Philips and sophomore defender Mackenzie Tomon have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team for NCAA Division III schools.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University seniors defender Grace Blenis and forward Elliot Rupp, junior goalie Caitlyn Philips and sophomore defender Mackenzie Tomon have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team for NCAA Division III schools.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America® honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior or senior and be a starter or significant reserve that has played in 90 percent of the team's contest or started 66 percent of the team's games in 2025. Moravian has had 56 Greyhounds named CSC Academic All-Americans®.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The CSC Academic All-America® teams will be announced Wednesday, December 17.
The group helped the Greyhounds to a 3-12-2 overall mark this year, and the team was 2-6-1 in Landmark Conference action.
Blenis, an accelerated nursing and psychology major with a 3.65 grade-point average, started 16 matches and recorded one assist. In four years, Blenis played in 65 contests with 57 starts and had one goal and two assists for the Hounds. She earned a spot on the 2023 and 2024 Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.
Rupp, a health sciences and pre-physical therapy major with a 3.91 grade-point average, started all 17 matches in 2025. She has four goals and an assist in 65 career contests with 22 starts. Rupp was a member of the 2023 and 2024 Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.
Philips, a counseling psychology major with a 3.75 grade-point average, started 15 matches in goal and posted a 1.99 goals-against average, a 3-9-2 record, one shutout and 86 saves in 1,313 minutes of action. In her two seasons with Moravian, Philips has a 6-9-2 mark with three shutouts, 97 saves and a 1.66 goals-against average in 1,628 minutes. She earned a spot on the 2024 Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.
Tomon, a political science major with a 3.87 grade-point average, played in 16 matches on defense for Moravian this season. She has seen action in 22 contests during her first two seasons.
