Moravian Snaps 14-Match Losing Streak to Goucher to Remain Undefeated in Landmark Conference Action
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s tennis team earned a 5-2 victory over visiting Goucher College at Hoffman Courts Saturday in Landmark Conference action as the Hounds snapped a 14-match losing streak to the Gophers.

How It Happened
- The Hounds won two of the third doubles contests to clinch the doubles point and a 1-0 lead. The tandem of freshmen Cris Calfat Jabra and Enzo Guarda had a 6-3 victory at first doubles while junior Gavin Labbadia and sophomore Roman Farhad won 6-3 at second doubles to earn the point
- Goucher posted the first two wins in singles action with victories at first and third singles to move ahead 2-1. Guarda recorded a 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3 three-set triumph at second singles to even the score at 2-2 while sophomore Joey Kelly had a 6-1, 6-1 win at sixth singles to make it 3-2. Labbadia garnered the winning team point with a 2-6, 7-5, 7-5 three-set victory at fourth singles before Farhad finished off the match with a 6-3, 6-4 win at fifth singles
- Moravian had lost 14 straight matches to Goucher including ten in the regular season and four in the postseason. The last time the Blue & Grey earned a victory over the Gophers was on March 15, 2014 with a 6-3 win
