Guarda Named as Landmark Conference Men’s Tennis Athlete of The Week
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University freshman Enzo Guarda has been named as the Landmark Conference Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University freshman Enzo Guarda has been named as the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Guarda helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week as Moravian earned the top seed in the 2026 Landmark Conference Tournament while posting the first undefeated conference season in program history. Guarda went 2-0 at first doubles with Cris Calfat Jabra, and he had a pair of straight sets wins at second singles.
"Enzo went 4-0 this week in two key conference matches, playing a big role in helping us stay undefeated in the regular season and secure the top seed," stated Director of Tennis Mariana Freitas. "He's made an immediate impact on our program, and I am really happy to see him earn this recognition."
Moravian is scheduled to return action on Friday, May 1 in a Landmark Conference Tournament Semifinal match versus the winner of the First Round match between Drew University and The University of Scranton beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Hoffman Courts.
