Hounds to Face Goucher in 2026 Landmark Conference Championship Match on May 3
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The top seeded Moravian University men’s tennis team will host third seed Goucher College in the championship match of the 2026 Landmark Conference Tournament with action slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3 at the Central Pennsylvania Tennis Center in South Williamsport.

The Greyhounds have posted a 14-5 mark on the year, and the Blue & Grey were 9-0 in the Landmark regular season, the first undefeated conference season in program history. Moravian is making its fourth straight and fifth appearance in the Landmark Conference Tournament since 2021 while the berth in the championship match is the first for the program since 2009. The Hounds and the Gophers met on April 11 on Hoffman Courts with Moravian winning 5-2, the Blue & Grey's first victory over Goucher since 2014, snapping a 14-match losing streak.
Fifth-year Director of Tennis Mariana Freitas has guided the Hounds to a 68-26 mark since taking over the program. The Hounds posted a 4-0 victory over fourth seed Drew University in the Semifinals on Friday at Hoffman Courts.
Sophomore Joey Kelly leads the Blue & Grey with a 14-2 singles mark while sophomore Roman Farhad has a 14-3 slate. Junior Gavin Labbadia is 13-5 in singles action while freshman Enzo Guarda has a 10-6 mark. Senior Matthew Labosky is 5-3 on the year while senior Ryan Burke has posted a 5-9 slate. Freshman Cris Calfat Jabra is 3-8 in his debut season while senior Shayaan Farhad has a 3-9 mark. Freshman Ben Horne has a 2-0 mark while junior Garrett Morris is 1-1.
Labbadia and Roman Farhad have combined for a 17-6 doubles record while Jabra and Guarda are 13-9 on the year. Kelly and Shayaan Farhad have a 9-4 record while Burke and Labosky are 7-3. Horne and Morris have teamed up for a 6-2 slate while Burke and Kelly are 5-4. Kelly and Roman Farhad are 1-1 and Shayaan Farhad and Guarda are 1-0.
Goucher posted a 4-0 win over sixth seed Juniata College in the First Round before defeating second seed The Catholic University of America, 4-2, in the other Semifinal on Friday.
The winning team on Sunday will receive the conference's automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Division III Tournament.
