Moravian Tops Drew for First Time Since 2016 to Remain Undefeated in Landmark Conference Action
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s tennis squad posted a 5-2 decision over visiting Drew University in Landmark Conference action at Hoffman Courts Thursday as the Hounds topped the Rangers for the first time since 2016.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds captured two of the third doubles contests to earn the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead. Drew won at first doubles to start the match while junior Gavin Labbadia and sophomore Roman Farhad posted a 6-1 victory at second doubles. The tandem of senior Shayaan Farhad and sophomore Joey Kelly recorded a 6-3 triumph at third doubles to give the Blue & Grey a 1-0 edge
- Moravian won the first three singles contests to finish to clinch the match. Roman Farhad registered a 6-0, 6-1 win at fifth singles before Labbadia finished with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at fourth singles. Kelly earned the winning team point with a 6-0, 6-2 triumph at sixth singles to make the score 4-0. The Rangers captured first and second singles to pull within 4-2 before freshman Cris Calfat Jabra recorded a 7-6 (8-6), 2-6, 1-0 (10-3) victory at third singles to complete the contest
- The victory for the Hounds was their first over Drew since a 5-4 win on April 6, 2016 to snap a nine-match losing streak to the Rangers that included eight regular season contests and one postseason match
