Greyhounds Shutout Elizabethtown in Landmark Conference Action
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s tennis squad won its sixth straight match with a 7-0 win at Elizabethtown College in Landmark Conference action Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Hounds swept the doubles action to take a 1-0 lead. Senior Izzy Szmodis and junior Leah Zolotareva posted a 6-0 win at first doubles while junior Sydney Shifman and freshman Natalia Smith earned a 6-0 victory at second doubles. Sophomore Jenna Gower and freshman Kaelyn Balko added a 6-1 triumph at third doubles
- The Blue & Grey also swept the singles action with Shifman winning 6-0, 6-0 at second singles, Balko earning a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at third singles and Smith posting a 6-4, 6-3 win at first singles to clinch the match. Freshman Madi Schottman recorded a 6-0, 6-2 victory at fifth singles while Gower had a 6-2, 6-2 win at sixth singles. Freshman Fraukje van Baars completed the match with a 4-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-8) win at fourth singles
