Moravian Drops Non-Conference Contest at Rowan

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds received the opening kickoff and earned one first down before punting
- The Profs had a 14-play, 83-yard scoring drive on their first possession capped off with a four-yard touchdown pass to take a 7-0 lead with 6:20 to play in the first quarter
- After another punt by the Blue & Grey, Rowan doubled the score to 14-0 with a one-yard touchdown run with 3:05 to go in the opening quarter
- The Hounds picked up a first down before sophomore Jack Corrigan came on to punt for the third time, and his kick was blocked and returned for a touchdown on the last play of the first quarter to make it 21-0 for Rowan after 15 minutes of action
- The Profs added two touchdowns in the second quarter including one with just two seconds left in the half to set the score at 35-0 at the intermission
- Rowan had a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter and one in the fourth quarter to finish off the scoring in the contest
Inside the Numbers
- The Greyhounds' offense was limited to 69 yards including 24 on the ground and 45 in the air
- Sophomore quarterback Declan McCarthy was 4-for-15 for 39 yards in his first career start while sophomore RJ Hart completed 2-of-3 passes for six yards
- Junior wide receiver Avery Koser caught two passes for 19 yards while sophomore wide receiver Josh Ludlow had one catch for 15 yards to go with one kickoff return for 15 yards
- Sophomore wide receiver Tanner Clancy and senior wide receiver Knaheim Bragg each caught one pass for five yards while graduate student tight end Jalen Jones had one reception for a yard
- Sophomore running back Jed Bendekovits led gained 16 yards on six carries while freshman running back Dorian Thomas contributed seven yards on five attempts to go with five kickoff returns for 117 yards
- Graduate student running back Joey Richmond picked up six yards on four carries
- Corrigan punted ten times for an average 42.2 yards with a long of 71 yards, and he kicked off once for 65 yards
- Junior defensive back Aidan Lane led the Moravian defense with ten tackles while senior linebackers Chris Cacace and Clay Basile both had seven stops
- Sophomore defensive lineman Kaelyb Barahona made six tackles with one for loss while senior defensive back Dorian Gray, senior defensive lineman Nathan Carr and freshman linebacker Jamie Gutridge all contributed four tackles with Gutridge adding three tackles for loss and a half a sack with sophomore linebacker Jack Tosh
