Corrigan Selected to College Sports Communicators Football Academic All-District
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University sophomore kicker/punter Jack Corrigan has been selected to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Football Team for NCAA Division III schools.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University sophomore kicker/punter Jack Corrigan has been selected to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Football Team for NCAA Division III schools.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America® honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior or senior and be a starter or significant reserve that has played in 90 percent of the team's contest or started 66 percent of the team's games in 2025. Moravian has had 56 Greyhounds named CSC Academic All-Americans®.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The CSC Academic All-America® teams will be announced Tuesday, January 27.
The Greyhounds posted a 2-8 mark this year with a 2-4 record in Landmark Conference action.
Corrigan, an accounting major with a 3.83 GPA, was named to the 2025 Landmark All-Conference First Team and the D3football.com All-Region 2 Second Team as a punter after leading the Landmark Conference with an average of 43.2 yards per on 55 attempts. He had a season-long and school record tying long of 75 yards in the season opener at Muhlenberg College. Corrigan placed 16 punts inside the 20-yard line and had 13 fair caught and just five touchbacks. Corrigan also handled the place-kicking duties for the Greyhounds, and he went 18-for-20 on extra-points and 1-for-3 on field goals with a long of 33 yards. Corrigan kicked off 26 times for an average of 56.8 yards with three touchbacks.
In his two seasons, Corrigan, who made the 2024 Landmark All-Conference Second Team as a punter, has punted 100 times for a school record average of 42.8 yards per punt with a long of 75 yards, 30 inside the 20-yard line, 16 fair caught and ten touchbacks, and he is 33-for-38 extra-points and 1-for-4 on field goal attempts for 41 points. Corrigan will be named to the 2025 Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.
