Moravian Races Past Lancaster Bible in Final Non-Conference Contest of 2025-26
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s basketball team raced out to an early 19-point lead on the way to a 99-81 victory over visiting Lancaster Bible College in Johnston Hall Saturday in the Greyhounds’ last non-conference game of the 2025-26 season.

How It Happened
- The Hounds scored the first five points of the game on a lay-up from senior forward Marquis Ratcliff and a trio of free throws by senior guard Porter Kelly. After a free throw from the Chargers, the Blue & Grey stretched the advantage to 10-1 just over three minutes into action on a lay-up from junior guard Joel Baez. Moravian's lead reached 19 points with a 23-4 advantage at the 12:19 mark after a fast break lay-up by Baez
- Lancaster Bible closed within eight points at 28-20 with 8:48 left in the first half after a 16-4 run. The Greyhounds stretched the edge back to 13 points at 33-20 after a three-pointer from senior forward Liam Cummiskey just 40 seconds later; however, the Chargers went on another run to get within three-points, 44-41, with just under a minute left in the half. Ratcliff hit a free throw and a lay-up to send Moravian to the intermission with a 47-41 edge
- Ratcliff drained a three-pointer to start the second half while Lancaster Bible got back within five points at 50-45 just over two minutes into action. Moravian countered and pushed the lead back 14 points, 68-54, on two Baez free throws with 12:31 to play
- Ratcliff put the advantage into double figures for good with 8:22 remaining, and the Hounds' edge reached 25 points with just under three minutes to go when a three-pointer from sophomore guard Dylan Costa made it 97-72
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had four players in double figures led by Ratcliff, who tossed in a game-high 32 points, his fourth 30-point game of the season and 12th of his career, to go along with nine rebounds and three blocked shots
- Kelly netted 20 points to go along with a career-high nine assists and four rebounds while Baez finished with 10 points, eight boards, four assists and a trio of steals
- Cummiskey registered ten points with nine rebounds as the Greyhounds' starters accounted 81 of the team's 99 points
- Costa recorded seven points, four assists and two rebounds while senior guard Chad Kratzer had five points, five assists and three boards
- Junior guard/forward Riley Flood posted four points and three rebounds while freshman forward Steve Conway had two points and a pair of rebounds
- Sophomore guard JJ Kolumber dished out four assists
- The Hounds shot 37-for-72 from the field (51.4 percent), 13-for-30 on three-pointers and 12-for-17 at the foul line while holding a 47-35 advantage on the boards
- Moravian set a program record with 30 assists on 37 made field goals in the contest
