Ratcliff Named to 2025-26 Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University senior forward Marquis Ratcliff has been named to the Top 100 Watch List for the 2025-26 Bevo Francis Award presented by Small College Basketball.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University senior forward Marquis Ratcliff has been named to the Top 100 Watch List for the 2025-26 Bevo Francis Award presented by Small College Basketball.
The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. This is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season. The award has been presented annually since 2016, and the field of players come from NCAA Division II and Division III, the NAIA, USCAA Division I and Division II and NCCAA Division I and Division II. Twenty-four of the Top 100 including Ratcliff compete in NCAA Division III.
Ratcliff is currently ninth in the nation at NCAA Division III with a scoring average of 24.7 points per game through 14 contests this winter while helping the Greyhounds to a 10-4 overall mark and a 4-3 slate in Landmark Conference action. Ratcliff, who has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week three times so far in 2025-26, is also pulling down 8.7 rebounds per contest this season to go with 33 assists, 29 blocked shots and 10 steals. He is shooting 59.0 percent from the field (128-of-217), 41.0 percent beyond the three-point line (25-for-61) and 76.5 percent at the foul line (65-of-85).
Ratcliff, who has made the Landmark All-Conference First Team twice in 2024 and 2025 and the Second Team in 2023 while being selected as the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year, is third in program history with 1,732 points in 87 career contests. He is fifth all-time with 763 rebounds while holding the school record with 187 blocked shots as a Greyhound. Ratcliff, who was named to the 2025 D3hoops.com All-Region 5 Second Team, is second in program history in field goals made at 638, fourth in field goals attempted at 1,161, fifth in free throws made with 369 and fifth in free throws attempted at 518 to go along with 116 assists and 77 steals in his career.
The watch list will be narrowed to the Top 50 on February 15 with the final award eventually announced on April 6, 2026.
