How It Happened
- The Cardinals opened the scoring with a three-pointer while senior forward Liam Cummiskey drained a three-pointer for the Hounds' first points to tie the contest. After Catholic moved ahead by five points, the Blue & Grey came back to knot the score at 13-13 on a pair of free throws by senior forward Marquis Ratcliff at the 13:43 mark. The Cardinals answered with a 7-0 run and would lead 23-17 midway through the half
- Catholic moved out to a 32-21 lead before Cummiskey sank a pair of three-pointers and senior guard Chad Krazter added a three-pointer to pull Moravian back within two points at 32-30 with just under five minutes left in the opening half. The Cardinals countered with a 16-4 run to take a 48-34 advantage into the intermission
- Catholic held the edge throughout the second half, leading by as many as 30 points with 7:08 on the clock
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had three players score in double figures with Kratzer netting a team-high 21 points to go with six assists and three boards
- Ratcliff finished with 17 points, four rebounds, three assists and a pair of blocked shots as he moved into sole possession of second all-time for the Greyhounds with 821 career rebounds while Cummiskey tossed in 11 points to go along with four boards, three assists and two blocked shots
- Sophomore guard Dylan Costa recorded seen points and two rebounds while sophomore guard John Kelly added six points
- Freshman guard Nico Pulieri contributed three points and three boards in his first career start while junior guard George Cutler and freshman forward Andy O'Keeffe both had two points and two rebounds
- The Hounds shot 23-for-59 from the field (39 percent), 12-for-32 beyond the three-point line and 11-of-14 at the foul line
