Hounds Fall at Drew in Landmark Conference Action

How It Happened
- The Rangers hit the opening three-pointer of the contest while junior guard Joel Baez got the Hounds on the scoreboard with a driving lay-up. The Blue & Grey took a 10-9 lead on a three-pointer from junior guard George Cutler four minutes into action. Senior guard Chad Kratzer hit a free throw for an 11-9 edge before the squads traded the lead six times. Kratzer drained a three-pointer to put Moravian on top 20-17 with just over 11 minutes remaining in the first half before Drew ran off nine straight points to take the lead for good at 26-20 with 8:36 until the intermission
- The Hounds got back within two points at 34-32 on a Baez three-pointer while the Rangers finished the half with an 11-4 run to head to the locker room with a 45-36 lead
- Drew scored the opening three points of the second half to push the edge into double digits for the rest of the contest
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had three players score in double figures with Kratzer netting a team-high 19 points to go with one assist, four boards and one blocked shot
- Sophomore guard Dylan Costa finished with a career high 15 points while junior guard/forward Riley Flood tossed in a career best 10 points to go along with six boards, one block and one steal
- Senior forward Liam Cummiskey earned nine points with four rebounds and two steals
- Baez and Cutler each had seven points and four assists while senior forward Marquis Ratcliff added five points, six boards and three blocked shots
- The Hounds shot 27-for-68 from the field (39.7 percent), 8-for-28 beyond the three-point line and 12-of-20 at the foul line
