Hounds Earn Landmark Conference Win at Lycoming

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds netted the first goal when sophomore midfielder Robert Celona scored an unassisted goal with 8:44 on the clock. The Warriors scored twice to take a 2-1 edge before freshman attack Jack Minetti scored off a pass from junior attack Nick Coffaro in the final minute of the period to knot the score at 2-2 after 15 minutes of play
- Coffaro began the second quarter with a man-up goal, and Minette scored again to give the Blue & Grey a 4-2 advantage. Lycoming answered with two goals to tie the match again while Coffaro scored again to send Moravian to halftime with a 5-4 edge
- Coffaro and Minetti each put in one goal in the third quarter while the Warriors scored once to make it 7-5 after 45 minutes of action
- Coffaro would score once more in the fourth quarter while junior midfielder Hunter Klapmuts added a goal before Lycoming netted the final marker of the half
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian saw five players record at least one point led by Coffaro, who had four goals and an assist
- Minetti finished with three goals and two assists to go with a pair of ground balls while Celona added a goal and an assist
- Klapmuts scored once while sophomore defender Jace Schmalz had an assist, four caused turnovers and two ground balls
- Senior defender Mike Sickler led the Blue & Grey with eight ground balls and four caused turnovers while sophomore face-off specialist Owen Deady had five ground balls to go with a 13-for-16 day on face-offs
- Senior short stick defensive midfielder RJ Toogood scooped up five ground balls while junior long stick midfielder Andrew Cassese add three ground balls
- Junior goalie Liam Kelly registered eight saves and three ground balls
- The Hounds had a 61-25 advantage in shots, a 43-21 edge in ground balls and went 21-for-24 on clearing attempts and 14-for-19 on face-offs
