Greyhounds to Host Susquehanna in 2026 Landmark Conference First Round Contest on April 25
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s lacrosse squad has earned the fourth seed in the 2026 Landmark Conference Tournament and will host fifth seed Susquehanna University for a first-round match on Saturday, April 25 beginning at 12:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.

Admission to Saturday's match is $11 for adults and $6 for minors ages 10-17 and seniors 62 and older. Children ages nine and under are admitted free of charge, as are all Landmark Conference students, faculty and staff with their school ID. All ticketing will be done online at https://landmarkconference.org/sports/2022/4/25/championships-tickets.aspx?path=champs, and there will be no cash accepted on site.
Eleventh-year Head Coach Dave Carty has led the Blue & Grey to a 10-6 record, and he has guided Moravian to its fourth Landmark Conference Tournament appearance since 2021 and first home playoff match. When the Greyhounds and River Hawks met earlier this season, Moravian earned a 10-8 win in Bethlehem on April 3.
Junior attack Nick Coffaro leads the squad with 33 goals, 47 assists and 26 ground balls while freshman attack Jack Minetti has a team-high 43 goals, 17 assists, 36 ground balls and five caused turnovers. Senior attack Ryan Kokoszka has 26 goals, ten assists, 22 ground balls and seven caused turnovers while junior midfielder Adam Twist has 14 goals, six assists and 15 ground balls. Junior midfielder Hunter Klapmuts has added 14 goals, four assists, seven ground balls and four caused turnovers while sophomore midfielder Robert Celona has 11 goals, seven assists, seven ground balls and three caused turnovers and freshman long stick midfielder Christian Hantson has seven goals, an assist, seven ground balls and eight caused turnovers.
Junior attack Jay Ashforth has six goals while freshman attack Tyler Bowden has five goals, an assist and 15 ground balls. Junior attack Kyle Gann has six goals, four assists, 12 ground balls and three caused turnovers while freshman midfielder Carter Grant has three goals and 12 ground balls. Junior short stick defensive midfielder Finn McGovern has two goals, three assists, 11 ground balls and five caused turnovers while senior attack Vincent Devito and freshman midfielder Andrew Nappi both have two goals and an assist. Freshman attack Bradley Carotenudo, sophomore midfielder Dominic Houck and junior short stick defensive midfielder Mike Willis all have two goals with Willis adding 17 ground balls and five caused turnovers while sophomore long stick midfielder Jace Schmalz has a goal, three assists, 16 ground balls and ten caused turnovers.
Sophomore face-off specialist Owen Deady has a goal, two assists, 94 ground balls and is 169-for-304 on face-offs while senior short stick defensive midfielder RJ Toogood and freshman midfielder Sean McMahon both have one goal with Toogood adding 33 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. Junior attack Aiden LaCorte has two assists while sophomore long stick midfielder Dylan DeNaples has two assists, 18 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers and sophomore short stick defensive midfielder Jake Bicking has one assist and nine ground balls.
Junior goalie Liam Kelly has 147 saves, a 10-6 record, 43 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and a 10.05 goals-against average in 806 minutes while freshman goalie Rory Jenkins has 13 saves and five ground balls in 91 minutes. Sophomore goalie Chris Piluso has three saves in 36 minutes while junior goalie Nick Crames has two saves in 21 minutes.
Senior defender Mike Sickler has 36 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers while junior long stick midfielder Andrew Cassese has 38 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers to go with 6-for-31 on face-offs. Senior defender James Panico has posted 26 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers while freshman short stick defensive midfielder Luke Bartnett is 12-for-27 on face-offs with five ground balls and freshman defender Peter Miragliotta has five ground balls and four caused turnovers and freshman defender Oscar Woodgate has three ground balls.
The top two seeds in the Landmark Conference Tournament have earned first round byes. The winner of Saturday's first round match between the Greyhounds and River Hawks will advance to face top seed The University of Scranton in a semifinal match on Wednesday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m.
Saturday's other first round match is between third seed Elizabethtown College and sixth seed Drew University with the winner then facing off with second seed The Catholic University of America in a semifinal on April 29. The top remaining seed will host the 2026 Landmark Conference Championship match on Saturday, May 2 to determine the conference's automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Division III Tournament.
