TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian University women's volleyball squad has had junior middle blocker Payton Reuber named to the 2025 Landmark All-Conference Second Team while junior libero Sam Love was selected to the Honorable Mention squad.
Moravian, led by first-year Head Coach Amable Martinez, registered a 14-14 record this fall including a 5-4 mark in Landmark Conference action as the Greyhounds qualified for the Landmark Conference Tournament for the first time since 2017.
"We are so proud of Payton and Sam to be recognized by the other coaches to their respective All-Conference teams. It is nice to see their hard work this season has paid off," commented Martinez.
Reuber, who made the Landmark All-Conference Honorable Mention team last fall, recorded 190 kills and 60 blocks to go along with 30 digs, ten assists, one service aces and a .294 hitting percentage. Reuber has registered 611 kills, 193 blocks, 89 digs, 25 assists, ten service aces and a .281 hitting percentage in 283 sets over 80 matches.
"Payton committed to hard work and adapted well to our system," Martinez stated. "She struggled early but eventually it all clicked for her and was a major force during conference play. Her ability to mix her shots and make herself available is impressive. We'll deserve recognition, can't wait to see what is next for her and how she elevates her game moving forward."
Love, who earned her first career postseason accolade, led the Blue & Grey with 489 digs to go along with 46 service aces, 83 assists and four kills this fall. Love is ninth in program history with 1,288 digs after three seasons to go along with 112 service aces, 251 assists and 12 kills in 283 sets over 81 career matches.
"Sam has been the steady leader defensively for us all year and has adapted well to our system and now has thrived in it," noted Martinez. "She has been so much fun to coach and so receptive to feedback. The sky is the limit for her going forward."
