Moravian Sweeps York (Pa.) for First Home Win of 2025
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s volleyball squad swept visiting York College of Pennsylvania, 3-0, in non-conference action in Johnston Hall Saturday afternoon as the Greyhounds earned their first home victory of the 2025 season.

How It Happened
- The Spartans scored the first two points of the contest, and the set was tied at 7-7 when the Hounds scored five straight points to take control. The Blue & Grey earned a 25-18 set win for a 1-0 lead
- The second game saw York with an early 7-3 advantage before Moravian rallied to move in front 12-11. The Greyhounds stretched that lead into a 25-16 set win and the 2-0 edge
- The Hounds raced out to a 7-1 advantage in the third set and eventually captured the game 25-15 to complete the sweep
Inside the Number
- Junior outside hitter Gabbie Reigner led Moravian with 12 kills to go with seven digs while junior middle blocker Payton Reuber, junior outside hitter Kelly Tempalsky and sophomore middle blocker Kate McBrierty all had six kills with Templasky adding nine digs and a pair of service aces and McBriety posting three blocks
- Sophomore opposite hitter Ella Kilko contributed four kills and three blocks while senior setter Ally Plitnick had 30 assists, five digs and a kill
- Junior libero Sam Love led the Hounds with 20 digs and three service aces while junior defensive specialist Molly Hughes posted four digs and three service aces and freshman defensive specialist Lauren Donnelly had a pair of service aces
