Moravian Field Hockey Begins 2025 Season on August 30
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University field hockey squad is scheduled to start the 2025 campaign on Saturday, August 30 with a non-conference match at DeSales University.

The Greyhounds will play their home opener on Wednesday, September 3 versus rival Muhlenberg College under the lights on John Makuvek Field, and the Blue & Grey are set to host St. Lawrence (N.Y.) University in non-conference action on Saturday, September 6. Moravian has a trip to Cedar Crest College on Wednesday, September 10 before hosting William Paterson University on Saturday, September 13. The Hounds travel to Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday, September 17 before welcoming Delaware Valley University on Saturday, September 20 and Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday, September 24 to John Makuvek Field.
Moravian heads out a three-match road trip that begins with the 2025 Landmark Conference opener at Juniata College on Saturday, September 27. The Blue & Grey close out the non-conference slate at Misericordia University on Wednesday, October 1 before heading to The Catholic University of America for a Landmark Conference match on Saturday, October 4.
The Hounds will play four of the remaining seven Landmark Conference contests at John Makuvek Field starting with Drew University on Wednesday, October 8. The squad hosts Lycoming College on Saturday, October 11 before a trip to The University of Scranton on Wednesday, October 15. The Blue & Grey host Susquehanna University on Saturday, October 18 then head out to Goucher College on Wednesday, October 22 and Wilkes University on Saturday, October 22 before finishing the regular season on Wednesday, October 29 versus Elizabethtown College on John Makuvek Field.
The Greyhounds, who have played in the postseason in each of the last four seasons, aim to qualify for the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the first-round matches Saturday, November 1 as the third and fourth seeds host the fifth and sixth seeds. The semifinals are set for Wednesday, November 5 at the top two seeds and the championship match is slated for Saturday, November 8 at the highest remaining seeds' home field.
