How It Happened
- The squads played a scoreless first quarter with the Cougars holding a 5-3 edge in shots while both teams had two penalty corners
- Misericordia took a 1-0 lead just 1:45 into the second quarter, and the Cougars scored again in the last minute of the period to head to the intermission leading 2-0
- The Cougars netted a goal in the third period to extend the score to 3-0
- Misericordia added one more goal in the fourth quarter to finish off the scoring
