How It Happened
- The squads played a scoreless first half as the Greyhounds had an 8-0 edge in shots and a 6-0 advantage in penalty corners
- The Greyhounds got onto the scoreboard in the 43rd minute as senior forward Gia Ambrosino knocked in a pass from sophomore forward Shawna Mamrak inside the left post
- Neither squad was able to find the net in the fourth quarter
Inside the Numbers
- Ambrosino scored her team-leading tenth goal of the season to push her career total to 31, which moves her into a tie for fifth in program history, and she is now seventh in school history with 67 career points
- Mamrak registered her first career save
- Junior goalie Maia Machado did not record a save in her second shutout of the season and ninth of her career, which ranks fourth all-time, and Machado moved into a tie for third with her 21st career victory, just four wins shy of breaking the school record
- The Blue & Grey had a 23-1 advantage in shots and a 19-2 edge in penalty corners
