Greyhounds Shutout Cedar Crest for First Win of 2025

How It Happened
- The squads played a scoreless first half with the Hounds holding an 8-3 edge in shots over the first 30 minutes of action
- The Blue & Grey got onto the scoreboard just 1:21 into the second half when senior forward Gia Ambrosino off a pass from senior midfielder Megan Felmly
- Moravian doubled the score to 2-0 just 45 seconds later when junior midfielder Maddie Snyder tallied an unassisted goal
- The Greyhounds stretched the advantage to 3-0 in the 54th minute as sophomore forward Shawna Mamrak found the goal off a pass from Ambrosino
Inside the Numbers
- Ambrosino notched her third goal of the season and 24th of her career to move into 11th in program history in career goals. She also recorded her first assist of the campaign and five of her career to give her 53 career points to move into 16th all-time
- Snyder and Mamrak both netted their first goals of 2025 and of their careers
- Junior goalie Maia Machado recorded four saves in 55 minutes of action while senior Jessica Knox played the final five minutes as the duo combined on the shutout
- Moravian had an 18-4 advantage in shots and a 13-5 edge in penalty corners
