Walls Honored as Moravian Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Freshman Jayden Walls of the Moravian University’s men’s indoor track & field team has been selected as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Freshman Jayden Walls of the Moravian University's men's indoor track & field team has been selected as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Walls was named the 2026 Landmark Conference Men's Indoor Field Performer of the Year after helping the Greyhounds to a runner-up finish at the Indoor Championships. Walls won the long jump with a leap of 6.60 meters (21-8), and he finished fifth in the high jump at 1.87 meters (6-1.25).
The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Friday and Saturday, March 6-7 at the 2026 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Championships at the New York City Armory.
The Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week is selected on Mondays by Moravian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Sodexo will be giving each week's winner a free Starbucks drink at DeLight's Café.
