Hounds Capture Five Event Titles in Muhlenberg Invitational
ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s outdoor track & field squad captured five event titles to go with three All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks in the Muhlenberg College Invitational.

Moravian Event Winners
- Freshman Justin Nunes captured the triple jump with a distance of 13.34 meters (43-9.25)
- Moravian's 4x100-meter relay squad of senior Jacob Fenstermaker, sophomores Owen Smith and CJ Moore and freshman Ramses Valera took first in an AARTFC qualifying time of 42.54 seconds
- Fenstermaker won the 100-meter dash in 11.01 seconds
- Smith captured first in the 400-meter dash in 50.68 seconds
- Junior Anthony Morillo won the discus with an AARTFC qualifying toss of 44.95 meters (147-5)
Moravian Top 10 Results
- Graduate student Kyle Weiss took second in the long jump with a PR distance of 6.70 meters (21-11.75) while freshman Jayden Walls finished third at 6.59 meters (21-7.5), Nunes placed sixth at 6.16 meters (20-2.5) and Fenstermaker was tenth at 5.89 meters (19-4)
- Weiss was also second in the 400-meter dash in 50.85 seconds while sophomore Delferson Contreras took third in 51.00 second, Valera was fifth at 51.30 seconds, junior Jordan Gagner placed sixth in 52.00 seconds, freshman Jared Petre took eighth in 52.20 seconds and freshman Gavin Casey finished ninth at 52.45 seconds
- Walls was also the runner-up in the high jump at 1.80 meters (5-10.75)
- Freshman Jeremiah Peguero finished second in the javelin at 50.52 meters (165-9) while sophomore Marcus Morales was third at 50.00 meters (164-0), freshman Jalen Bey placed fourth at 48.52 meters (159-2) and sophomore Chris Downey took fifth with a mark of 47.33 meters (155-3)
- Sophomore Julius Reyes was the runner-up in the hammer throw on Thursday with a toss of 42.79 meters (140-4) while Morillo took tenth at 37.57 meters (123-3)
- Reyes was also second in the discus at 42.34 meters (138-11) while sophomore Chris Petit-Frere was sixth at 38.85 meters (127-5) and freshman Alex Reyes placed seventh at 35.69 meters (117-1)
- Senior Liam Maguire took second in the 110-meter high hurdles in 16.85 seconds
- Maguire was also the runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 58.96 seconds while sophomore Lane Bassett finished third in 59.13 seconds, freshman Rei Kikuchi took sixth in 1:01.43 and freshman Jordan Maldanado placed eighth in 1:02.75
- Sophomore Riley Trigo was the runner-up in the 1,500-meter run at 4:07.86 while sophomore Charlie Champagne took seventh in 4:11.85
- Junior Adam Plummer placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:21.76 while freshman Jonathan Pajrowski was fifth at 10:42.66, sophomore Grayson Kerzmann finished sixth in 10:49.22, freshman Nick DeGeronimo was seventh at 11:11.48 and junior Michael Schippnick took eighth at 11:11.79
- Fenstermaker finished third in the 200-meter dash in 22.29 seconds while Valera placed third in 22.57 seconds, Smith took seventh in 22.82 seconds and Contreras was ninth in 23.21 seconds
- Freshman Brady McKenna placed fourth in the pole vault, clearing 3.80 meters (12-5.5) while sophomore Diego Portales finished sixth at 3.65 meters (11-11.75)
- Freshman Aiden Nieman was fifth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:00.43 while freshman Eric Boyce was sixth at 2:01.15
- Freshman Parker Hamilton finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 13.31 meters (43-8) while sophomore Daniel Antar placed seventh at 12.57 meters (41-3)
- Weiss was seventh in the 100-meter dash in 11.52 seconds
- The Hounds 4x400-meter relay squad of Maguire, Casey, Kikuchi and Bassett finished fourth in 3:32.85
