Men’s 4x200-Meter Relay Honored as Moravian Sodexo Student-Athletes of the Week
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The men’s outdoor track & field relay team of graduate student Kyle Weiss, senior Jacob Fenstermaker, sophomore Owen Smith and freshman Ramses Valera has been honored as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for their performance last week.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The men's outdoor track & field relay team of graduate student Kyle Weiss, senior Jacob Fenstermaker, sophomore Owen Smith and freshman Ramses Valera has been honored as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for their performance last week.
The quartet ran a school record time of 1:27.89 to finish 16th in the Championships of America race at the Penn Relays last Friday at historic Franklin Field as they took nearly two and a half seconds off the previous mark set in 2017 also at the Penn Relays.
The Greyhounds are slated to return action on Saturday and Sunday, May 2-3 at the 2026 Landmark Conference Championships being hosted by Juniata College. Saturday's events begin at 1:00 p.m. while Sunday starts at 11:00 a.m.
The Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week is selected on Mondays by Moravian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Sodexo will be giving each week's winner a free Starbucks drink at DeLight's Café.
