Moravian Women’s Basketball Receives Top 25 Academic Special Mention from WBCA
ATLANTA, Ga. --- The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association has released its 2024-25 Academic Top 25 Honor Rolls and team’s receiving Special Mention for achieving a team grade point average above a 3.10 for the year in NCAA Division III including Moravian University.
ATLANTA, Ga. --- The Women's Basketball Coaches Association has released its 2024-25 Academic Top 25 Honor Rolls and team's receiving Special Mention for achieving a team grade point average above a 3.10 for the year in NCAA Division III including Moravian University.
Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk's squad had a 3.519 GPA for the year and is one of seven teams from the Landmark Conference to be honored with Drew University ranked 11th and The Catholic University of America, Elizabethtown College and Susquehanna University earning Special Mention with the Greyhounds. Division III had 118 schools honored with the Top 25 and 93 receiving Special Mention.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls. Teams having a 3.0 combined GPA and qualifying for consideration in their respective divisions are also listed as special mentions.
