ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s basketball squad dropped a 78-45 decision at rival Muhlenberg College Saturday afternoon in the Greyhounds’ final non-conference contest of the 2025-26 season.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's basketball squad dropped a 78-45 decision at rival Muhlenberg College Saturday afternoon in the Greyhounds' final non-conference contest of the 2025-26 season.
How It Happened
- The Mules opened the scoring with a free throw while sophomore guard Megan Elias drained a three-pointer to get the Hounds on the scoreboard with a 3-1 lead. Muhlenberg countered with a 9-0 run to build a 10-3 edge before senior guard Jayda Cartagena hit a jumper for the Blue & Grey. The Mules held a 20-8 advantage after ten minutes of action
- Muhlenberg slowly stretched its lead in the second quarter, taking a 40-18 edge to the intermission
- The Mules controlled action throughout the second half
Inside the Numbers
- Junior guard Lizzie Lustig and freshman guard Abby Hayes led the Blue & Grey with nine points as Lustig added three rebounds and Hayes had two boards and a pair of steals
- Elias finished with five points while sophomore guard Kylie Cabana contributed five points, and three boards
- Cartegena added three points and two rebounds while sophomore guard Ellie Wallbillich had a team-high six rebounds to go with three points
- Junior forward Grace Steffen, sophomore guard Kylie Sheridan, sophomore forward Kate Donaldson and sophomore forward Brynn Ohlhoff all netted two points with Steffen pulling down three rebounds and Sheridan adding two boards
- Senior guard Juliana Vassallo posted two steals and a point while junior forward Bellisima Lew and freshman forward Sofie Laird both had one point and sophomore forward Lanie Herbert pulled down two boards
- The Hounds shot 12-for-49 from the field (24.5 percent), 1-for-18 on three-pointers and 20-for-32 at the foul line
