Moravian Takes Second at Golden Bear Invitational with Four Individual Titles
KUTZTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s indoor track & field squad won four events and finished second at the Kutztown University Golden Bear Invitational Friday.

Moravian Event Winners
- Freshman Lexi Liddell won the mile run with a time of 6:10.30
- Sophomore Kennedy Simons capture first in the long jump with a leap of 5.18 meters (17-0)
- Simons also won the triple jump with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship qualifying mark at 10.93 meters (35-10.5)
- Senior Karalyn Vashey captured first in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 16.25 meters (53-3.75)
Moravian Top 10 Results
- Senior Margie Rayne was the runner-up in the shot put with a toss of 11.14 meters (36-6.75) while Vashey was fourth at 10.49 meters (34-5), freshman Natalia Smith placed fifth at 10.16 (33-4) and sophomore Jessica Heydt took seventh at 9.63 meters (31-7.25)
- Sophomore Erika Dietz finished second in the high jump at 1.43 meters (4-8.25)
- Sophomore Celia Knoedler was the runner-up in the mile in 6:14.08
- Sophomore Ali Haefele took second in the triple jump with a distance of 10.74 meters (35-3) while sophomore Bella Fiore finished third with a mark of 10.13 meters (33-3)
- Heydt was the runner-up in the 20-pound weight throw with a distance of 15.21 meters (49-11) while senior Heather Adams finished third at 14.81 meters (48-7.25), sophomore Naaliyah Slater placed fourth at 14.30 meters (46-11), Rayne was sixth with a toss of 13.26 meters (43-6) and freshman Mikayla Kessler took tenth at 10.59 meters (34-9)
- Freshman Lachlyn Timms placed third in the 800-meter dash in a time of 2:37.66 while sophomore Caroline Emmerich took fifth at 2:43.89
- Deitz finished third in the long jump at 4.79 meters (15-8.75) while Fiore took fourth with a leap of 4.65 meters (15-3.25)
- Sophomore Tessa Hopkins was fourth in the pole vault at a height of 3.05 meters (10-0) while sophomore Annika Petyk placed fifth at 2.75 meters (9-0.25) and freshman Maddy Bennyhoff was sixth at 2.30 meters (7-6.5)
