Greyhounds Finish Tied For 23rd in AARTFC Indoor Championships
NEW YORK, N.Y. --- The Moravian University women’s indoor track & field team finished in a tie for 23rd of 53 teams with ten points at the 2026 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Indoor Championships at the New York City Armory Saturday.

Moravian Results
- Senior Karalyn Vashey took fourth in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 16.69 meters (54-9.25) to score five points while sophomore Jessica Heydt finished tenth at a personal best distance of 15.74 meters (51-7.75). Senior Heather Adams placed 19th with a toss of 14.41 meters (47-3.5) while senior Margie Rayne was 26th at 12.36 meters (40-6.75)
- Sophomore Kennedy Simons placed ninth in the triple jump with a PR distance of 11.12 meters (36-5.75) while senior Ali Haefele took 24th with a mark of 10.60 meters (34-9.5)
- Senior Tara Smurla finished 24th in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:29.58
- The Hounds' 4x200-meter relay team of senior Shai Knight, junior Rachele Grigoli, sophomore Emma Shafnisky and freshman Morgan Tandy was 14th with a time of 1:47.05
