Greyhounds Ranked 12th in 2026 NFCA/GoRout Division III Preseason Top 25 Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Moravian University softball squad is ranked 12th in the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association/GoRout Division III Preseason Top 25 Poll released Tuesday.
The Greyhounds posted a 40-9 overall record last spring and won the program's 20th conference title, 12th Landmark Conference championship and seventh NCAA Division III Regional title under the direction of Head Coach Josh Baltz, who was in his third season leading the squad. The Hounds came within one victory of the program's fifth appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship round.
Moravian is set to begin the 2026 campaign on Saturday, February 28 with a non-conference doubleheader at No. 10 Christopher Newport (Va.) University in Newport News, Virginia, and the Greyhounds have one other top 25 team on the schedule with a game versus No. 25 Swarthmore College at The Spring Games in Clermont, Florida on Tuesday, March 10. Moravian is slated to host Messiah University, which received votes in the preseason poll, in a non-conference doubleheader on Thursday, April 2.
The Blue & Grey will play the first 14 games of the season on the road and are not scheduled to make their 2026 home debut until Saturday, March 21 when the squad will host Wilkes University in a Landmark Conference doubleheader at Blue & Grey Field to begin defense of the Landmark Conference title.
