The Greyhounds won the opening game, 7-1, to start the day. In game two, the Hounds took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning when senior shortstop Samantha Derickson connected on a lead-off double and scored on an RBI single by sophomore first baseman Kaley Hoffman.
