Holtje Earns Second Landmark Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week Honor

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior pitcher/outfielder Kyra Holtje has earned her second the Landmark Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week honor of the season for her performance last week.
Holtje, who also garnered Landmark Conference Pitcher of the Week honors on March 23, tossed a pair of shutouts and allowed just eight hits and no walks to go with nine strikeouts in a 4-0 week for the Greyhounds. Holtje also hit .538 for the week (7-for-13) with five runs, a double, three stolen bases and four RBIs, and she added one putout and three assists in four chances in the field. Holtje scattered two hits to go with eight strikeouts in a 1-0 win at Alvernia University, and she earned an 8-0, five-inning victory at Susquehanna University as she allowed six hits and had one strikeout.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, April 7 in a Landmark Conference doubleheader versus Drew University beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Blue & Grey Field.
