Top 10 Stories of 2024-25 - #6 Jackie Salvatore Receives Honorable Mention All-America from USA Lacrosse Magazine
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is continuing its look back at its 2024-25 athletic campaign. The fifth entry in our second countdown of the summer – the Top 10 Stories of the Year selected by the athletic administration – is our No. 6 highlight – senior attack Jackie Salvatore being named an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse magazine.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is continuing its look back at its 2024-25 athletic campaign. The fifth entry in our second countdown of the summer – the Top 10 Stories of the Year selected by the athletic administration – is our No. 6 highlight – senior attack Jackie Salvatore being named an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse magazine.
Salvatore helped the Greyhounds to a 10-8 record and a berth in the Landmark Conference Tournament this season. In addition to being selected to the USA Lacrosse magazine Honorable Mention All-America team, Salvatore was honored as the 2025 Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year and earned spots on the Landmark All-Conference First Team and the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Metro Region Second Team. Salvatore set the Moravian single season records for points in a season with 120 and assists in a year with 76 in 2025 to go along with 44 goals, 83 draw controls, 32 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
Salvatore set the program and Landmark Conference record assists with 201 career assists, and she broke the Landmark Conference record in career points with 379 career points, a total that is second in Moravian history. She also had 124 ground balls, 210 draw controls, third all-time, and 46 caused turnovers in 72 career contests.
