Greyhounds Top Scranton in Landmark Conference Pitcher's Duel

How It Happened
- The Royals opened the scoring with a run in the top of the first inning
- The Greyhounds answered with three runs in the bottom of the third to finish off the scoring in the contest. Freshman second baseman Jack Cappo drew a leadoff walk while sophomore third baseman Owen Ness reached on an error. Senior first baseman Sean Superka was hit by a pitch before Scranton turned a double play at the plate and third base to get two outs on a fielder's choice hit by sophomore designated hitter David Vozzo. Sophomore left fielder Troy Rabosky drew a walk to load the bases again before sophomore center fielder Luke Keitsock ripped a three-RBI triple down the right field line as Superka, Vozzo and Rabosky scored
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian posted just three hits in the game with Ness going 2-for-3
- Keitsock was 1-for-4 with his three-RBI triple while Superka, Vozzo and Rabosky all scored once
- Junior Nate McBride made the start on the mound and recorded two strikeouts in seven innings of action to improve to 2-2 on the year. Junior Caden Ward earned his second career save and his first since 2024 with two innings of relief work
