Greyhounds Fall to Scranton in Landmark Conference Series Finale
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University baseball team wrapped up a Landmark Conference series with The University of Scranton, falling to the Royals, 17-0 in seven innings, at a rainy Gillespie Field Wednesday.

How It Happened
- The Royals scored a single run in the first inning for a 1-0 lead
- Scranton added single runs in the fourth and fifth frames before pushing in ten runs in the top of the sixth and four more in the top of the seventh to finish off the scoring
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had just one hit, a single by sophomore shortstop David Vozzo
- Senior Max Sponheimer made the start on the mound and tossed two innings while sophomore Chase Wengryn had a strikeout in two innings of action. Junior Nick Leonard pitched 1.1 innings with one strikeout while freshman Garret Denkenberger pitched two-thirds of an inning. Senior Stefano Garofalo was on the hill for a third of an inning while junior Aidan Lane had a pair of strikeouts in the final two-thirds of an inning
