Third Seeded Greyhounds to Travel to Catholic for 2026 Landmark Conference Semifinal Match on April 29
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The third seeded Moravian University women’s lacrosse squad opened the 2026 Landmark Conference Tournament with a 14-5 First Round win over sixth seed Elizabethtown College, and now the Greyhounds head to second seed The Catholic University of America for a Semifinal contest on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The third seeded Moravian University women's lacrosse squad opened the 2026 Landmark Conference Tournament with a 14-5 First Round win over sixth seed Elizabethtown College, and now the Greyhounds head to second seed The Catholic University of America for a Semifinal contest on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m.
Admission to Wednesday's match is $11 for adults and $6 for minors ages 10-17 and seniors 62 and older. Children ages nine and under are admitted free of charge, as are all Landmark Conference students, faculty and staff with their school ID. All ticketing will be done online at https://landmarkconference.org/sports/2022/4/25/championships-tickets.aspx?path=champs, and there will be no cash accepted on site.
First-year Head Coach Morgan Graham has guided the Greyhounds to a 13-5 record, a program record for wins in a season, and she has guided the Hounds to its eighth consecutive Landmark Conference Tournament. Moravian and Catholic met in Washington, D.C. on March 21 with the Cardinals winning 20-4.
Graduate student midfielder Kerry Seiler leads the Greyhounds with 50 goals and 11 assists to go with 33 ground balls, 46 draw controls and 22 caused turnovers while junior attack Melissa Elefonte has contributed 31 goals, 55 assists, 20 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. Sophomore midfielder Kathryn Hunsinger has added 35 goals, 19 assists, 66 draw controls, 21 ground balls and 9 caused turnovers while junior midfielder Bailey Leatherman has 31 goals, six assists, 17 draw controls, ten ground balls and six caused turnovers.
Freshman midfielder Cora Sollenberger has recorded 19 goals, 11 assists, 21 draw controls, 18 ground balls and seven caused turnovers while sophomore midfielder Ella Steirer has netted 29 goals, an assist, 29 ground balls, 13 caused turnovers and four draw controls. Sophomore attack Faith Mahoskey has posted 21 goals, seven assists, three ground balls and two draw controls while senior midfielder/defender Gianna Lotito has six goals, an assist, 23 draw controls, 38 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers.
Senior attack Victoria Salica has five goals and five assists while freshman midfielder Alana Sollenberger has three goals and six assists. Freshman attack/midfielder Kayla Glaeser has four goals, five ground balls and four caused turnovers while sophomore midfielder Izzy Lotito has added three goals and one assist and sophomore attack/goalie Cailin Filep has one goal.
Junior midfielder Reagan Reiner has a goal, 44 ground balls, nine caused turnovers and four draw controls while sophomore defender Alanna McBrearty has scooped up 24 ground balls with 19 caused turnovers and an assist. Junior defender Maia Machado has a goal, 18 ground balls and six caused turnovers while sophomore defender Mia Faisetty has 14 ground balls and three caused turnovers. Senior defender Grace Nelson has five ground balls while sophomore defenders Lillian Martino and Amelia Walsh both have three ground balls with Walsh adding three caused turnovers.
Sophomore goalie Lily Parker has made 119 saves for the Blue & Grey to go with 17 ground balls, two caused turnovers, an 8.16 goals-against average and a 9-4 record in 838 minutes of action while Filep has added five saves in 20 minutes in goal.
Wednesday's other semifinal match is between fourth seed Susquehanna University and top seed The University of Scranton at 7:00 p.m. The River Hawks defeated Drew University, 12-7, in the other First Round match on Saturday. The top remaining seed will host the 2026 Landmark Conference Championship match on Saturday, May 2 to determine the conference's automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Division III Tournament.
