Greyhounds Fall to No. 15 TCNJ in Non-Conference Action
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s lacrosse team fell to No. 15 The College of New Jersey, 17-5, in non-conference action on John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's lacrosse team fell to No. 15 The College of New Jersey, 17-5, in non-conference action on John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening.
How It Happened
- The Lions scored ten goals in the first quarter to lead 10-0 after 15 minutes of action
- TCNJ added two more goals in the second quarter before graduate student midfielder Kerry Seiler netted a pair of goals for the Greyhounds with sophomore attack Faith Mahoskey setting up the second tally. Junior midfielder Bailey Leatherman also had a goal late in the quarter off a pass from Seiler to cut the deficit to 12-3 at the intermission
- The Lions scored three times in the third quarter to lead 15-3 after 45 minutes of play
- TCNJ also had the first two goals of the fourth quarter to stretch the advantage to 17-3. Mahoskey netted a goal with just over five minutes remaining off a pass from sophomore midfielder Kathryn Hunsinger while Leatherman scored again with a minute and a half to play off a feed by junior attack Melissa Elefonte
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had five players record a point led by Seiler with two goals and an assist to go along with three draw controls
- Leatherman contributed a pair of goals while Mahoskey added a goal and an assist
- Hunsinger and Elefonte each had one assist with Hunsinger scooping up three ground balls
- Sophomore defender Mia Faisetty also had three ground balls
- Senior goalie Kayla Graef made the start in goal and had one save in 15 minutes of action while sophomore goalie Lily Parker registered seven saves over the final 45 minutes
- The Hounds scored three of their five goals with an extra attacker, and the Blue & Grey held a 12-11 edge in ground balls while going 12-for-13 on clearing attempts
