How It Happened
- The Greyhounds opened the scoring just 59 seconds into action when junior midfielder Bailey Leatherman found the net off a pass from sophomore midfielder Kathyn Hunsinger. The Cardinals answered with four goals to lead 4-1 after 15 minutes of action
- Catholic began the second quarter with three straight goals before sophomore attack Faith Mahoskey scored off a feed from Leatherman. The Cardinals scored again while junior attack Melissa Elefonte and Leatherman scored in the final 2:48 of the half to put the Blue & Grey within four at 8-4 as the squads headed to the intermission
- The Cardinals scored all 2 goals put in the net in the second half with eight in the third quarter and four in the fourth period
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had four players record a point with Leatherman contributing two goals and an assist
- Mahoskey added a goal and an assist while Elefonte had a goal and Hunsinger added an assist and two draw controls
- Graduate student midfielder Kerry Seiler registered five draw controls while junior midfielder Reagan Reiner added a pair of ground balls
- Sophomore goalie Lily Parker posted ten saves
