Greyhounds Drop 2026 Season Opener at Muhlenberg
ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s lacrosse team dropped a 20-5 decision at rival Muhlenberg College in non-conference action Wednesday to begin the 2026 season under the direction of first-year Head Coach Morgan Graham.

How It Happened
- The Mules netted the first four goals of the match before graduate student midfielder Kerry Seiler netted her first goal as a Greyhounds with 6:46 to go in the first quarter. Muhlenberg added three more goals to lead 7-1 after 15 minutes of action
- The Hounds netted one goal in the second period as sophomore attack Faith Mahoskey scored her first goal for the Blue & Grey; however, Muhlenberg had five goals to lead 12-2 at the intermission
- Moravian scored a woman-up goal in the third quarter as sophomore midfielder Ella Steirer found the cage, but the Mules led 18-3 after 45 minutes of play
- The Greyhounds netted two goals in the fourth quarter with junior midfielder Bailey Leatherman and junior attack Melissa Elefonte both scoring
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had five players record points with Elefonte recording a goal and two assists while Seiler added a goal and an assist
- Leatherman contributed a goal and three draw controls while Steirer had a goal and two ground balls
- Mahoskey netted the Greyhounds' other goal while freshman midfielder Cora Sollenberger registered three draw controls
- Freshman attack/midfielder Kayla Glaeser caused a pair of turnovers while sophomore defender Alanna McBrearty scooped up two ground balls
- Sophomore goalie Lily Parker made ten saves for the Blue & Grey in 45 minutes of action while senior goalie Kayla Graef added one save in the final quarter
