Moravian Runs Past Wilkes to Clinch Home Playoff Match
EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s lacrosse squad ran past host Wilkes University, 22-4, in Landmark Conference action Saturday as the Greyhounds clinched a home postseason match in the first round of the 2026 Landmark Conference Tournament.

How It Happened
- The Hounds jumped out to a 2-0 lead as sophomore midfielder Kathryn Hunsinger scored twice in the first two minutes of action. Junior midfielder Bailey Leatherman made it 3-0 before the Colonels scored. Moravian scored five more times in the period with goals from graduate student midfielder Kerry Seiler, freshman midfielder Cora Sollenberger, Hunsinger, sophomore midfielder Ella Steirer and junior attack Melissa Elefonte for an 8-1 edge after 15 minutes of action
- The Greyhounds tallied five goals in the second quarter to push the advantage to 13-1 at halftime. Seiler scored twice in the period while Elefonte, Leatherman and Hunsinger each netted one goal
- Each squad scored three times in the third period to make it 16-4 after 45 minutes of play. Sophomore attack Faith Mahoskey, freshman attack Kayla Glaeser and freshman midfielder Alana Sollenberger each netted one goal for the Blue & Grey
- Moravian scored six times in the final 15 minutes with two goals from Seiler and one each from Steirer, Hunsinger, Mahoskey and Cora Sollenberger
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian ten players score at least one point led by Elefonte, who had ten points on two goals and eight assists for her second double-digit game of the week, and Elefonte added a pair of ground balls
- Seiler netted five goals to go with six draw controls, four ground balls and four caused turnovers while Hunsinger added five goals, an assist, five draw controls and a pair of ground balls
- Cora Sollenberger contributed two goals, an assist, two ground balls and two caused turnovers while Mahoskey, Leatherman and Steirer each netted two goals
- Alana Sollenberger posted a goal and an assist while senior attack Victoria Salica added an assist
- Junior midfielder Reagan Reiner grabbed a pair of draw controls while senior midfielder Gianna Lotito and sophomore defender Alanna McBrearty both had three ground balls and two caused turnovers
- Sophomore goalie Lily Parker recorded five saves to go with a pair of ground balls
- The Hounds had a 36-9 advantage in shots, a 22-7 edge in ground balls and were 15-for-16 on clearing attempts
